Trust and marketplace integrity

The badge should be earned—and the rules should be visible.

iMerch Finder is designed to help buyers make a better-informed choice without pretending that any marketplace can guarantee a future project. This page explains the public promise and the boundaries behind it.

A Free Basic Listing is not a Vetted Partner

Legitimate promotional-products distributors may appear through a Free Basic Listing. It may be claimed or unclaimed and appears only under Additional distributors. It is expressly not vetted by iMerch Finder, receives basic self-service support, and has no Vetted Partner badge or priority.

  • Claimed means the business controls and can maintain its listing; it does not mean the business is vetted.
  • Free Basic Listings remain browseable under Additional distributors and include only basic facts, contact details, a claim or correction path, and basic self-service support.
  • Vetted Partners rank above every Free Basic Listing, receive higher-touch partner support, and are the only profiles eligible for controlled buyer introductions.
  • Public Vetted Partner status requires electing and passing the separate independent review, a market-ready Enhanced Vetted Partner Profile, and active membership. Payment cannot buy or guarantee approval.

A specific claim

What “Vetted Partner” means

A Vetted Partner completed the current application and evidence review, received recorded human approval, authorized a market-ready enhanced profile, activated paid membership, and remains current under the continuing-review and membership rules.

  • Business identity, authorized representative, contact channels, location, and core operating claims are reviewed.
  • Specialties, capabilities, industries, project fit, credentials, and material profile claims must be supportable.
  • Exactly three recent customer references and two recent supplier references are independently qualified and verified.
  • A real service-recovery account is evaluated for candor, communication, corrective action, outcome, and learning.
  • Conflicts and operator affiliations are disclosed and routed for independent review when required.
  • The profile shows its most recent review status and may lose or pause the badge when information is no longer current.

What the badge does not guarantee

Vetting does not guarantee product quality, delivery, pricing, financial condition, legal compliance, availability, or a particular project outcome. Buyers remain responsible for evaluating proposals, samples, pricing, terms, insurance, compliance needs, and the final business relationship.

Distributors remain responsible for their own customer orders, promises, products, delivery, and applicable remedies. This does not excuse iMerch Finder’s own conduct or platform membership obligations. Technology and AI-assisted drafting may help prepare information; vetting, complaint findings, and appeals require documented human judgment. Payment never substitutes for that review.

Real-world reliability

Why every applicant discusses a project that went wrong

A list of perfect references reveals very little about how a company behaves under pressure. Every applicant instead provides a candid service-recovery example and identifies a customer who can confirm the material facts when reasonably possible.

  • The problem is stated plainly without blaming away the applicant’s role.
  • The customer was informed honestly and expectations were reset.
  • Corrective action was proportionate and realistic.
  • The actual outcome—including any remaining limitation—is described.
  • A specific process or control changed afterward.

Not set-and-forget

Keeping the standard current

Vetted Partners must keep profile, eligibility, and membership information accurate and report material changes. Continuing review may include annual re-attestation, profile-claim checks, and revalidation with at least one qualified customer and one qualified supplier.

The badge, enhanced modules, priority, and higher-touch partner support pause if membership lapses, returning the public entry to an expressly unvetted Free Basic Listing. Approval concerns require substantive review; payment or tenure can never cure them.

Fit before fees

Organic relevance and paid placement stay separate

  • Fit, buyer needs, service area, capability, availability, project range, and fair rotation guide organic matching.
  • No plan price, company size, or founding designation changes relevance within a public tier.
  • Relevant Featured Vetted Partners appear first with “Paid Advertisement”; featured visibility is available only to a current Vetted Partner.
  • Relevant Vetted Partners follow, then relevant Free Basic Listings under Additional distributors. No Free Basic Listing can outrank a Vetted Partner.
  • ConceptPlus.com Inc. operates iMerch Finder. Promostuff 4 You is affiliated with the operator and may participate as a clearly labeled distributor.
  • An affiliated application, material complaint, enforcement action, or appeal requires an uninvolved reviewer.
  • The affiliated distributor receives no advance buyer information, private competitor files, lower evidence standard, ranking advantage, or enforcement immunity.

Shared responsibility

Buyer, applicant, and member conduct

  • Provide accurate information and correct material errors promptly.
  • Respect privacy, intellectual property, confidentiality, anti-discrimination rules, and applicable product and marketing requirements.
  • Do not submit fabricated references, pressure a reference, impersonate another person, scrape profiles, send spam, or misuse buyer information.
  • Use buyer information only to respond to the requested introduction and related lawful recordkeeping—not for resale, unrelated advertising, or list building.
  • Do not claim that a Free Basic Listing, claimed status, membership, a Vetted Partner badge, featured placement, or founding designation guarantees endorsement, leads, or results.

Accountability

Complaints, pauses, removal, and appeals

Buyers, applicants, references, members, suppliers, and other affected people may report a credible concern. The review may preserve relevant evidence, seek focused clarification, correct a profile, pause a badge or introduction, suspend or remove a member, or close the matter when the evidence does not support action.

Good-faith reporting and participation in a review must not trigger retaliation. Material decisions record the factual basis and use an independent reviewer where a conflict exists. Both sides can respond to relevant evidence. A third final substantiated separate incident ends participation; duplicate reports about one incident count once, and an overturned finding does not count. Dissatisfaction alone is not a substantiated breach.

Appeals are available within 15 calendar days of notice, with reasonable extensions. An unconflicted reviewer who did not make the original decision considers the appeal. A timely appeal keeps that finding from counting as final while pending; justified interim safety restrictions may remain. The full policy explains these safeguards without guaranteeing an outcome or limiting legal rights.
